Privacy
We do not ask for your name or email, run ads or sell data. We measure visits and clicks on Amazon links so we know which pages help.
What we collect
- Google Analytics 4 records page views and clicks on Amazon links (page, link and approximate location). Google sets cookies for this. You can block them with your browser or the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
- Amazon link counter. Amazon links pass through our own address (/go) and then redirect to Amazon. For each click we record the day, the page, the destination, the country and a shortened browser description. We do not record IP addresses in that log.
- The vacuum finder remembers your last answers in your own browser (local storage) so they are there next time. They are never sent to us.
Amazon
When you open an Amazon link, Amazon's own privacy notice and cookies apply. Amazon tells us about qualifying purchases in aggregate so it can pay our commission; it does not tell us who you are.
